About Me
Charlotte Kay, LMFT
(she/her)
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist based in Silver Lake, Los Angeles, offering in-person psychotherapy as well as online therapy throughout California and Colorado.
I studied Environmental, Population & Organismic Biology at the University of Colorado at Boulder and later earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
I’ve long been interested in human behavior, relationships, emotional life, creativity, and the ways people adapt to difficult experiences and periods of change. My work is also informed by longstanding interests in mindfulness, embodiment, contemplative practices, and the relationship between emotional and physical experience.
Outside of therapy, I’m drawn to live music, writing, movement, nature, and the small moments that help us feel more connected to ourselves and the world around us.
Clients often describe me as warm, thoughtful, grounded, engaged, and direct. Read what others are saying about my practice here.
